Spoonflower!

I've just realized, (upon reading about it on some one else's blog), that I haven't talked about Spoonflower yet! Shame on me.

Probably about a month ago, I started to wonder if there was a website out there that did custom printing of fabrics. Well, not too long after that I saw on The Black Apple's blog about Spoonflower and it was exactly what I was wondering about!

Since it is a small business, memberships are by invitation only but you can request for an invitation. So, I sent out my request for a membership a couple days later, waiting to see if I would be invited and I was so very exciting when I was.

Let me tell you, its just about the funnest thing ever and I'm so sad that I haven't been able to utilize it to its fullest. I've been meaning to design a tile-able image similar to the one on my blog banner and business cards so I can order a yard or so of it. I'm hoping to cover the top of my laptop computer with it (hopefully that is a project I can get around to doing soon!) so I should definitely be getting on that.

I've also just completed a new painting and hopefully I can get a print of that for sale in the shop by tomorrow! I think its one of my favorite pieces I've done to date...
